Kipp QuinbyOur Fearless Leader

Kipp Quinby had a great time growing up nearby on Isle au Haut and believes strongly in the opportunities of childhood.  In the small island community, she learned to make friends and work with people of all ages, and as the oldest child living on the island, often led a crowd on wild adventures.

Kipp has worked her whole life in the family fishing business, collecting marine specimens for education and research.  She has also worked as a ranger, lobsterman, and in the academic program at Shoals Marine Lab.  Kipp has studied education and ecology, is a state certified teacher, and loves to share her enthusiasm for the local natural history.

Along with natural history and learning, other things Kipp feels strongly about include playing music with her father and sister, cooking, reading, and gardening. Please feel free to contact Kipp about Arts Playhouse at kipp@pmalcenter.com.
