Continuing the PMAL tradition of exploration through imagination, we will be creating a medieval village this summer with all the trappings! What were the skills needed to survive in Europe of 1200 AD? We intend to find out by recreating that world on the grounds of PMAL! We will be exploring weaving looms, entertainment with NO electricity, copying books one stroke at a time, mechanical engineering capable of launching watermelons down a blueberry field! This camp is not for the weak of heart! There were serious skills required to survive int he middle ages. If you are a rising 4th through 9th grader, please join us to explore the Middle Ages and rock an Arthurian Education this summer! Preregistration is REQUIRED to take this epic journey!

Water’s Edge is an imaginative play program based in nature. Students walk the half-mile path from the PMAL Center to the shore of Woods Pond where they spend four hours creating their own village in the forest. The students have created their own forts, businesses, currency, government, pets, and rituals while being guided by the staff of PMAL. Not only do the children play in the forest, they also swim, kayak, and canoe in Woods Pond under the watchful eyes and thoughtful instruction of a certified lifeguard and a Wilderness First Aid certified counselor. Come join us for our fifth summer of laughter, exploration, and fun!At the Water’s Edge
